Hi I am Yi Jin!
I am a third-year student majoring in illustration at Winchester School of Art (WSA), University of Southampton, UK. I am working hard to become a freelance illustrator. I am from Fujian, China, and I attended high school in Toronto, Canada. I now live in Southampton.
I have loved drawing since I was a child. My grandmother and father were my first teachers. It can convey all kinds of things I observe in life and my unique personal feelings. I like to share these feelings with others and heal them by transforming them into pictures.
I like working on a variety of projects and illustrations, especially picture book creation, which aims to establish an emotional connection and resonance with the audience through the visual language of storytelling.
